Spicy Butter Bean Dip

Butter Bean Dip is a delicious Dip similar to hummus. I jazzed it up with fresh red chilli. You can serve with raw vegetable sticks or crackers as a snack. Or you can pair it with vegetables and some protein to make a meal of it. If you cook your beans from scratch don't forget to soak them overnight and change the cooking water after the first boil. I added my chopped garlic and red chilli to the cooked beans after I turned off the heat.
Ingredients for Spiced Butter Bean Dip
1 cup Butter beans with little of the cooking liquid
Juice of half a lemon
2 tablespoon tahini
A fat clove of garlic
1/2 red chilli
Sea salt
To serve:
Ground cumin
Extra virgin olive oil
Method:
Blend all the ingredients till smooth
Sprinkle with little ground cumin and extra virgin olive oil.
